linux users on west side of Indy?

I am completely new to Linux and am wondering if there is anybody that lives in the Avon area. I could use some hands on help to get past the basics

I am somewhat of newbie myself and know how it feels to try to figure out things by myself. If you can find someone in the Avon great! If not, please try to attend a monthly meeting to meet some of our members of the group. I think you will find that people in the group are very encouraging as well as very helpful. The goal is to help people help themselves and others. Put a face with a name!
