Wine

Before I get into any details, are there any Wine gurus in here? I've installed a graphics app according to the directions posted on the winehq.org site, but can't get it to launch, and haven't gotten a helpful response from anyone - friendly, but not helpful.

...and what does this mean:

No error message when launching CorelDraw, just a bouncing cursor and then nothing.

Kubuntu 7.10 w/ Wine 0.9.51 as per the wine page's instructions:

I even contacted Eric Peltzer, the guy who wrote it, and got nothing helpful.

Should I just uninstall all the Win apps & Wine & try again?
