Presenter: Dr. Burke Mamlin

Anyone is welcome to attend the meeting. Dr. Burke Mamlin from the Regenstrief Institute will be giving a presentation on OpenMRS, an Open Source Electronic Medical Records system used heavily in developing countries. OpenMRS is used in the treatment and prevention of HIV/AIDS in Sub-Saharan Africa as part of Indiana University's Kenya Program.

Anyone is welcome to attend the meeting. Andrew Jones from Apparatus, Inc. will be giving a technical demonstration of SystemTap, a dtrace-like framework for dynamic tracing and probing of the Linux kernel.

Andrew Jones has been working with UNIX and Linux systems at Apparatus for the past 5 years, most recently as a tier 3 consultant to the UNIX/Linux Architects at Eli Lilly and Co.

Apparatus is an Indianapolis-based provider of advanced information technology consulting and managed services. Founded in 1999, the company specializes in the design, build and support of IT infrastructure for clients ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies.
