April CINLUG Meeting — Bazzite Linux

What is Bazzite?

Bazzite is an open source custom Linux operating system image built upon Fedora Atomic Desktops that brings the best of Linux gaming to all of your devices — including your favorite handheld. It is built with cloud native technology through the use of Open Container Initiative (OCI) containers and GitHub Runners.

Come hear Noel Miller1 describe how Bazzite is built for Linux newcomers and enthusiasts to provide the best user friendly experience for playing your favorite video games at the next Central INdiana Linux User Group (CINLUG) meeting! The meeting will begin at 18:30 (6:30 PM) EDT on Wednesday, April 2nd.

CINLUG thanks Moser Consulting for hosting our meetings at their facility2. (There will be a phone number at the entrance to call to be let into the building.) The meeting will be simultaneously broadcast over this Jitsi Meet URL for those who cannot attend in person. (Though in-person attendance is encouraged.)

CINLUG meetings are the 1st Wednesday of every month. Please be sure to block that night off in your calendar to keep it available! Open Source standards is tentatively scheduled to be May’s topic.

  1. Noel currently works for Red Hat as a Cleared Maintenance Engineer (CME) Technical Account Manager (TAM). His day job’s primary focus is helping his customers with anything related to Red Hat Enterprise Linux or the Ansible Automation Platform. He’s been in the information technology industry for about 10 years and a GNU/Linux user since 2012. Though his GNU/Linux distribution of choice is Fedora, he has used Ubuntu, Debian, openSUSE, Arch Linux, Solus, and many other distros as a daily driver.
