Want to perform Big data analysis on your laptop? Join Adam Jennings1 at the May Central INdiana Linux User Group (CINLUG) meeting as he speaks on Open Source online analytical processing databases!
Adam’s talk will cover some of the history of online transaction processing / online analytical processing (OLTP/OLAP) databases, review some of the current top contenders (ClickHouse and DuckDB) and give example analysis using command-line tools.
The meeting will begin at 18:30 (6:30 PM) EDT on Wednesday, May 1st.
CINLUG thanks Moser Consulting for hosting our meetings at their facility2. (There will be a phone number at the entrance to call to be let into the building.) The meeting will be simultaneously broadcast over this Jitsi Meet URL for those who cannot attend in person. (Though in-person attendance is encouraged.)
