About Position
VMS, Inc. is actively searching for an organized, self motivated, positive and proactive individual to join the VMS team as an IT Helpdesk Analyst. The IT Helpdesk Analyst will be responsible for providing the following support:

Troubleshoot Windows XP based desktops and Laptops
Troubleshoot VPN, Internet and Ethernet Connectivity issues
Set up new desktop and laptop machines using Linux based imaging software
Help end users with content creation in Microsoft Office applications
Train end users on application usage
Perform user management in a Microsoft Active Directory Environment
Assist with network and server projects when needed
Assist with software and database projects when needed
Be security conscious with all decisions

Experience with Windows operating systems
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Can find solutions to problems through Internet research
Can identify Infrastructure vs. desktop problems
Can effectively communicate solutions to end users in person and over telephone
Experience with PC Hardware installation and troubleshooting
Works well in team environment
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a similar field
